Is Porçao Farm to Grill closed?
Miami.com is reporting the restaurant has closed after opening just about two months ago, stating that “a walk-by during prime dinner time Saturday night revealed a dark, empty, shuttered restaurant.”
The answer, however, is not so cut-and-dried.

According to an inside source, the restaurant is “not officially closed” and there is a plan to reopen the steak house that features farm-to-table offerings by executive chef Jeff O’Neill, possibly as soon as this week. “They [management] told me we are not closed.”
Whether Porçao reopens remains to be seen. Just recently, a rumor circulated that restaurant workers hadn’t been paid since the opening and had walked out.
The restaurant, which this past spring, wanted to be a lot of things to a lot of people. In addition to the restaurant, there was an upstairs lounge — KAO Lounge — and a cigar bar named KAO Smoke.
We’ll update this post with any additional information.
