Last week, thousands of people converged upon the Hyatt Regency Miami for Miami New Times‘ Iron Fork and Miami Spice Kickoff. The event featured over 60 of South Florida’s finest restaurants, many of them Miami Spice participants giving event goers a taste of things to come.

The highlight of the evening, however, was the Iron Fork competition where chef Todd Erickson (Haven, Huahua’s Taqueria) emerged victorious after a heated three-round battle with chef Aaron Brooks (Edge Steak & Bar).

All in all, a fantastic night filled with good food and fun that benefited Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign.
