Just one month ago, Japan was hit by a devastating earthquake and tsunami. The country continues to be rocked by aftershocks, slowing relief efforts. Show your support by attending the Hope for Japan fundraiser tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 at Segafredo Brickell.
The suggested contribution of $15 includes appetizers and a drink, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to Japanese NGOs supporting immediate relief and long-term rebuilding efforts in Northeast Japan, the region hardest hit.
The event is produced by the Miami-Kagoshima Sister Cities Committee. Miami and Kagoshima, which is located in southwest Japan, were named sister cities in 1990.
