Really, what’s a 5 Napkin burger without some mackerel on the side? Tomorrow at 5 Napkin Burger all Holy Mackerel drafts will be $4 (reduced from $7) all day long so arrive hungry and thirsty. Get there between 7 to 9 p.m. and you’ll get a free souvenir glass plus enjoy your brew with 5 Napkin specialty pairings (here are a few shots of some bites we hope you’ll enjoy) while mingling with Holy Mackerel’s brewer, Bob Gordash.
Never heard of Holy Mackerel? Ask Gordash, a Fort Lauderdale native, about how he originally brewed beer in his Broward-based kitchen and a few years later went on to win the Samuel Adams World Homebrew Contest in 1996 with his “extra special bitter.” Now his line includes Special Golden Ale, Mack in Black, and Panic Attack and can be found all over America.
