Riddle me this: what’s cold and hot and totally free? Tomorrow’s grand opening of YoBlendz froyo joint at Dadeland Station, where there’ll be sweet, healthy frozen treats, hotness in the form of the Miami HEAT dancers — and live entertainment, too.
Seriously, we challenge you to find a cheaper way to spend a family-friendly afternoon. Hell, going to the movies can set you back $100+. Why not score some autographs and a sweet balloon animal instead?
YoBlendz is a self-serve froyo chain, and their opening shindig at Dadeland Station will feature the hottie Heat girls signing autographs, a balloon artist, a face painter and live tunes.
The main attraction (the yogurt, natch) comes in all kinds of flavors, from banana pudding to snickerdoodle cookie dough, and they offer low-fat and sugar-free options, and a host of topping selections. Plus, they’re headquartered in Weston, so you’re supporting local biz.
As of now, they have 10 locations spanning Miami, Plantation, Sunrise, Weston and Wilton Manors, and they plan to go national.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow at Dadeland Station.
