The Setai’s got a new chef

Beginning tomorrow, (Wednesday), David Werly takes over the job of Setai’s executive chef, the position Jonathan Wright ditched to embark on a Barbados adventure. He will be responsible for The Restaurant, The Grill, The Pool & Beach Bar, The Bar & Courtyard, and in-room dining.

Werly’s resume includes gigs at Le Cirque Las Vegas and Le Pré Catelan Lenôtre and the Hotel Ritz in Paris, all of which possess one or more Michelin stars. He was trained under Chef Alaine Ducasse.

As to what his new menu will entail, well… he’s keeping his cards close. Stay tuned.
