Thursday night brought booze, live music and food truck grub to a gathering called the Culinarium. For the first time in Miami, food trucks, the latest trend to satisfy hungry Miamians, added entertainment and a full bar to the equation.
On the corner of NE 2nd Avenue and 17th Street, more than a dozen food trucks lined up for starved Miamians. The event was organized by the famed Burger Beast, Sef Gonzalez Chef Richard Hales of Sakaya Kitchen, and included Jefe’s Original, Dim Ssam a Gogo, CheeseMe, Ms. Cheezious, Fish Box, Churro Mania, and Latin Burger.
Drizzling rain probably steered away customers, but that didn’t stop the live music, and two full bars in Villa’s 221 lavish back yard. What follows are some photos from last night’s event.
