We noticed that Cacao Restaurant in Coral Gables had been closed for the month of September — never a good sign. But as the message on the restaurant’s answering machine optimistically declared that it would reopen October 1st, we figured we’d wait before worrying.  Today is October 1st and no signs of life: Is Edgar Leal’s Cacao, which opened seven years ago this month, cooked for good? Sure looks that way.
