The traditional Belgian waffle will be a huge part of most of the dishes, but diners can opt for other nontraditional waffles such as dill, potato, chive, and Emmental; Stella Artois and herbs; chocolate chip; and blueberry. There’s also a breakfast waffle burger ($16) with a veal-based patty, applewood smoked bacon, eggs served sunny-side-up, and chimay cheese. And the BE waffle veal sliders ($17) are served with poached egg, smoked ham, hollandaise, and white asparagus.
Some of the other offerings are the Breakfast Champignon ($12) with sautéed wild mushrooms, with toasted beer bread topped with a sunny side up egg; green eggs ($12) with choice of breakfast meats; fresh berries and granola yogurt parfait ($10); and croque madame ($13) with smoked ham, gruyere layered between fresh bread and melted cheese; and the delicious sounding crème brûlée French toast $13 made with challah bread and fresh berries.
