It’s that time of year again — Miami’s version of the Oscars, the Grammys, and the James Beards, all wrapped into one.
We’re talking about New Times’ annual Best of Miami edition, which comes out in June.
Once again, our editorial staff locked themselves up in a tower to spend their days writing about everything good and new and fresh about Miami — from the best hair salon to the best pizza. We’ve finally been allowed back out into the light of day, our mission accomplished for another year. Now it’s your turn.
Because we value your opinion, dear reader, you too get a say in what’s notable and wonderful in Miami.
Earlier, we asked you to nominate your favorite bands, restaurants, and shops in Miami. On May 7, we closed the initial nomination process to tally your recommendations and find the top five nominees in each award category.
Now it’s time to vote.
