When the earthquake in Haiti shocked the world with the widespread death and destruction, a group of people from South Beach pulled together to raise over $10 million in aid through a community group that was later named 1st & Alton.

They’ll hold an event named Rehabili-Haitian at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 10 at the Mutiny Hotel in Coconut Grove. There is a $20 suggested donation and 100 percent of all the proceeds will be donated to Haitian relief efforts.

There will be an open bar, silent auction and music from DJ Vidal, Arboles Libres and other artists.  Grey Goose and Bombay Sapphire will help support the event.  That’s right, there’s an open bar from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy food donated by some of Miami’s finest restaurants.
