Ice cream socials mostly invoke thoughts of church gatherings and neighborhood get-togethers, but not when you’re eating your ice cream overlooking Biscayne Bay at Area 31. The restaurant will celebrate National Ice Cream Month by hosting Scoops for Success tomorrow from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Choose from one of chef John Critchley’s two ice cream creations for the occasion: Peach Bombe — a Georgia peach sherbert with brown butter-almond ice cream, coffee butter crumbs and cinammon cream — or The Melon — compressed melons, ras el hanout ice cream, mint ice cream and local honeycomb. All proceeds of ice cream sold during the social will benefit Dress for Success. We can’t think of a sweeter ending to your work day.
