$10,000

After nine years of packing them in at 1223 Lincoln Road, AltaMar’s Claudio Giordano has partnered with chef Simon Stojanovic to open a sister venture ALTAMARE just steps away. The restaurant, due to debut sometime around the middle of next month, will be triple the size of the current space and include a chef’s table and private dining room.

Meanwhile, chef Stojanovic, who previously worked at Nemo and was opening sous chef at Michael’s Genuine, is in AltaMar’s kitchen creating dishes that will eventually be worked into the new venue’s menu. The place will be Mediterranean-inspired and feature “locally caught seafood, organic meats and house made pastas.” AltaMar will remain open until ALTAMARE’s debut at 1233 Lincoln Road.

ALTAMARE will be located at 1233 Lincoln Road; 305-532-3061.
