92. BBQ Pork Roll at American Noodle Bar
The noodle bowls may be where it’s at American Noodle Bar but with so many possibly good combinations and so many different tastes, it’s hard to settle on one favorite. Plus no noodle bowl has yet topped our love for the restaurant’s BBQ Pork Roll. Tender pulled pork dressed in barbecue sauce and avocado butter is nestled inside a baguette and topped with pickled onions and fresh cilantro, which brighten the pork’s rich flavor. There’s a reason this sandwich had Lee Klein “squealing with delight.” It’s highly satisfying and a little messy, too — finger-licking messy.
