The 8 oz. Burger Bar (1080 Alton Road, Miami Beach) wants to buy you a drink, it only counts for draft beer and “well drinks,” but if you buy one first, they’ll buy the next one. The Happy Hour runs daily from 4 to 7 p.m. and from 11 p.m. to close. What’s so great about this place and why does everyone keep talking about it? I don’t know, I never been there, but buy one get one free is a good deal, long as the buy one part’s not a rip off.
Here’s what they got on tap for $5 a pint.:

- California Telegraph White Ale
- Skyscraper Lug Nut Lager
- Green Flash West Coast IPA
- Telegraph Porter
- Seasonal Dale Bros.
All those beers are from California, which makes us wonder if the 8 oz Burger Bar is so interested in buying us a drink, why don’t they buy some from local brewers? Screw California, we got our own problems, Southern problems, and we should be able to drown em’ in Southern hops and barley.
