Olympian Gus Kenworthy Leads Miami Beach Pride’s Tenth-Anniversary Parade

When the Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade takes over Ocean Drive Sunday, April 8, it’ll mark the tenth anniversary of the event. The celebrity grand marshal who’ll mark this milestone is Olympian and freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy, who competed in both the Sochi and Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. Five Can’t-Miss Events at Winter Party Festival 2018

The LGBTQ community and its allies are set to converge on Miami Beach yet again. It’s time for another Winter Party Festival, and this one is an especially big to-do. This year marks the 25th edition of the high-energy, multifaceted fiesta that, in years past, has attracted more than 10,000 attendees.

Periodically Is Miami’s New Party “for Girls Who Like Girls”

The event will be female-centric, with lesbian bartenders and shot girls, a female DJ, and a Drag King instead of a Drag Queen. Local “gay-lebrity” Noel Aru will host, and DJ La Trice Perry will spin at the first installment of Periodically. Molto, which is also a full-service restaurant, will offer food and drink specials such as happy-hour appetizer prices, $15 cocktail pitchers, $20 beer buckets, and $7 beer and whiskey shots.
