Maya Gomez is a Ph.D student in the Cnidarian Evolutionary Ecology Lab, where she studies under the mentorship of Dr. Carly Kenkel and in collaboration with the Perry Institute for Marine Science. Maya’s research examines phenotypic plasticity (ecophysiology and morphology) of Caribbean reef-building corals in the face of climate change and disease.
