“Cash Me Ousside” Girl Has an Alleged $50K Riding on Her Fort Lauderdale Show

Danielle Bregoli, whose stint on Dr. Phil went viral last year, is taking her act on the road — specifically, the road to Fort Lauderdale. The Boynton Beach 14-year-old, whose claim to fame is the phrase “cash me ousside, how bow dah,” has announced two tour dates: at Broward’s Revolution Live July 8 and in Houston, Texas. Sold-out shows will reportedly earn her $50,000 apiece.

Barry Jenkins Named to Time‘s List of 100 Most Influential People

Count Kathryn Bigelow among Barry Jenkins’ many fans. Bigelow, the Oscar-winning director of The Hurt Locker, penned the short but heartfelt praise for Jenkins, who directed the film Moonlight, in Time magazine’s 2017 issue “The 100 Most Influential People,” in which Jenkins appears alongside icons such as Margaret Atwood, LeBron James, and Pope Francis.

Phoenix Returns to Rock the Fillmore Miami Beach May 12

The last time the French alt-rockers of Phoenix rolled into Miami, they were at the tipping point between indie darlings and household-name status. Their 2009 album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, with hits like “1901” and “Lizstomania,” was getting play everywhere from college radio to Super Bowl ads. No wonder, then, that their 2010 appearance at the Fillmore Miami Beach was packed with fans, from Wavves’ opening set till Phoenix’s final song.

Culled from a competitive pool of talent comprising nine creatives, the winners gathered with other finalists at Artopia, an annual arts showcase held at the Coral Gables Museum.
