Carlos Omar Gardinet is a Miami-based journalist and senior copywriter covering music, arts, culture, and entertainment. A graduate of The New School in New York City, he has interviewed everyone from Chaka Khan to Susana Baca, with bylines in Vibe, The Source, MTV, BET, and the New York Post. When he’s not chasing a story or mentoring college students in marketing and advertising, he’s either on the tennis court or hard at work on his first novel and a short screenplay.
