Slugging through the rest of this shortened work week has been tough. For a city so associated with partying, it seems the day-to-day trials of living in MIA are getting to a lot of attention from outsiders (thanks, Nerd Wallet!). Yes, no one is denying we've got some economic issues to work out -- among other things.

Fortunately, this sad study didn't take into account Miami's beauty, her sprawling social scene, or multicultural flair. And, shocker of shocks, we've got all that in spades to look forward to this weekend.
