This two-wheeled jaunt will give you an up-close and personal glimpse of our city’s picturesque barrier island. Let naturalist guides regale you with tales of the island’s history. Flash back to a time when wilderness ruled as you ride through Crandon Park’s Bear Cut Preserve; take a gander at birds, lizards, turtles, and other critters in Crandon Gardens (former site of the Crandon Park Zoo); check out the William Lyman Phillips-designed public beach; and cruise through the charming little seaside village of Key Biscayne. In short, escape the city for an afternoon. Wheels to the ground, people! The sun is waiting.
