In a statement, Miami International Airport announced the new flights will have an introductory fare of $549 for the travel period from October 26, 2025, through March 29, 2026. The airport also encouraged connecting travelers to take advantage of the Icelandair Stopover program, which lets travelers stay in the country for up to a week at no extra cost.
The airline also noted, "Icelandair's new service will make MIA the only airport in Florida with nonstop flights to all five sovereign countries in Scandinavia and will make Reykjavik MIA's 21st European destination."
