Hello, Kitty: All of my previous girlfriends have swallowed, with relish. Except two: one who would ask me to tell her when, and now my current, who runs to the bathroom to spit it out. Does not swallowing mean a relationship lacks something? What's the rule on this? Please help.

Hey, Don: Well, there are no rules. One woman's reasons for swallowing could be totally different from another's. Have you asked your girlfriend why she doesn't do it? It might not be the easiest question to ask, but it is the most obvious. There are many possible reasons: skunky taste, snotty texture, health issues. However, your theory about something lacking isn't totally off base; for some women, whether to swallow depends on the guy and their comfort level in the relationship — swallowing someone else's bodily fluids is a very intimate act. But your girl might not fess up to her reasons now, so don't be surprised if you find out later in the relationship or after the breakup.

Now, you can work your way out of reasons such as a skunky taste or fear of the effects it could have on her body. To improve the taste, up your intake of fruits and vegetables, or add cardamom, peppermint, cinnamon, and lemon to your diet. Zinc supplements might also work. The only way it'll ever taste like sweet nectar is if you cut out beer, cigarettes, dairy, red meat, heavy spices, and a lot of other fun shit. That decision is yours. Another point in your argument could be that studies show human sperm is an antidepressant. Meaning that if she swallows, you'll both be happy at the end of the blowjob! If she still insists on spitting, just look away and be happy she's taking it into her mouth at all. Meow.
