Exxxotica Celebrates 20 Years With Porn Stars, Performers, and Play Time

When J. Handy launched his first Exxxotica adult expo in Miami Beach, he was "just young and dumb enough to think it would work." Twenty years later, with conventions in four cities, including Miami, he can call that wild dream a (sexy) success story.

More than 150 exhibitors will call the Miami Airport Convention Center home from June 27 to 29, showcasing the latest in tech, toys, and services aimed at enhancing pleasure, intimacy, and sexual connection. This year's event, presented by MyFreeCams, will also feature more than 250 NSFW performers, influencers, and creators appearing onstage and in booths hosted by brands like LoyalFans, MyFreeCams, and Chaturbate.

Live stage entertainment includes aerialists, a pole dancing competition, and fashion shows featuring adult entertainers like Phoenix Marie, Gianna Michaels, Chanel Camryn, Cory Chase, and Miss B. Nast. Other Exxxotica highlights this year include the BDSM-themed Dungeon Experience, a Seminar Series of educational and lively discussions, and the CouplesX Lifestyle Experience, which caters to new and existing members of the swinging community.

The biggest misperception about the event, Handy tells New Times, is that Exxxotica is strictly a porn convention. Instead, he describes Exxxotica as the largest event in the United States dedicated to love and sex (though porn is also a part of it). Handy has figured out a shorthand to explain it: "Think Comic-Con with adult stars instead of comic book characters."

"It's so big, with many different aspects you'd never imagine," says Handy. "A lot of what you find might be in your interest range, and you'll also encounter things you've never even considered." His advice for taking it all in? "Come with an open mind and wide-open eyes. If you're not interested in something you see, move on to the next."

The weekend will be packed with special events and promos for singles, couples, and the curious. Women who preregister with Ladies Free Friday will receive complimentary admission on the first day.
