Bucking the Trend

It seems like just yesterday that the Miami Heat were on track to break the winning record set by the 1972-73 Los Angeles Lakers with an epic streak that had NBA fans across the nation captivated (and haters unable to snark quite as hard as usual). Heat fans had dreams of adding yet another jaw-dropping statistic to their list of ways to brag about the home team. But last week, the mighty Heat finally fell to Chicago, ending their winning streak at 27 games. But it's time to turn that frown upside down, Heat fans. The streak may be over, but the regular season's still on, and Miami's still the best team in the NBA. And Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks will be especially epic, because the Bucks are safely settled in the eighth seed for the Eastern Conference. Unless they’re passionate about improving their standings, they might as well just all take a nap at center court while LeBron practices dunking without getting distracted by Chris Bosh’s epic videobombs.
