It's hard to imagine a golfing hotspot inside Brickell's concrete jungle, but that's precisely what Tips Golf aims to become this summer. The recently announced luxury recreation center opens at the AC Hotel Brickell on Friday, June 27, and guests can expect high-tech simulators, private lessons, and a bar and food menu to rival your favorite late-night spot.

The club's founder, Alejandro Piekarewicz, is a former Wall Street executive and avid golfer. "I created the Tips for fellow golfers who value both performance and atmosphere," he tells New Times. "Whether you're taking a lesson, practicing on your own, or teeing it up with friends over drinks, our goal is to deliver a premium experience driven by genuine hospitality in every aspect."

The 3,600-square-foot venue is more than just an air-conditioned place to hit the links. Five bays offer a place to work on your swing, either alone or with a group. Each bay is powered by cutting-edge technology that analyzes elements of your game from your swing speed, club path, and face angle to the ball's speed, spin, and carry height to give golfers deeper insights into their skills.

Like most golf clubs, the Tips has a resident head golf pro who provides private lessons. Miami native Landon Michelsen, a decorated professional golfer who spent about ten years playing on the PGA Tour Latin America, will improve guests' golf game.

Once you've perfected your swing, the bar serves everything from the golf-themed "bucket of balls" (sugared donuts) to flatbreads, shrimp cocktail, and steak tacos. Guests can also stay hydrated with golf-themed beverages, classic cocktails, and a premium wine and beer selection.

Membership packages range from $145 to $295 per month, with each including perks such as priority booking, free off-peak hours access, discounts to like-minded partners (think gyms and outdoor golf courses), discounts on food, drinks, lessons, and more. Ahead of its summer opening, the club is offering early membership deals with perks that will only last for a limited time.

The Tips Golf. Open this summer from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to midnight Friday, and 8 a.m. to midnight Saturday at the AC Hotel Brickell, 115 SW Eighth St., Miami. thetipsgolf.com.
