Go-kart racing was all fun and games when you were a kid who had never felt the thrill of weaving in and out of traffic and pressing the gas until your engine whirred to speeds way over the legal limit. But now that you’re of age and have tasted the life of a road warrior, go-karts take on a whole new meaning — and that meaning is something close to “wooohooo!” This Sunday at Homestead Karting’s final race of the South Florida Rmax Challenge/’09 Spring Champion Series, watch as 100 racers battle for the title that will lead to the world championships. You kick ass on Mario Kart; they kick ass in real life. And it’ll cost you only ten bucks to watch it all go down at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Gates open at 8 a.m.
