The hype had it that Wade was a clear third choice, but Miamians quickly learned he was actually the most valuable of the triumvirate. Sure bet: D. Wade will wear a ring before LeBron. Nonetheless Cleveland’s choice is a supreme b ball player; his 8:00 p.m. appearance at the American Airlines Arena (601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami) provides a midseason highlight. Of course we expect D. Wade to shut down his peer, “shut down” in this case meaning to keep him under twenty points and without a double double. Oh boy, these kids today. Miami Heat tickets range from $10 to $300.
