Bobby Slayton is ass-nasty. He’s nicknamed the Pitbull of Comedy. He’s had his own Showtime and HBO specials. He might not use his Haitian cab driver routine at his shows in SoFla, but he’s bound to mortally offend someone down here anyway.
layton is a Jewish guy in his 50s who admits he’s always been cranky. He’s not shy about racial slurs. Take his observation of L.A.’s DMV: “There are so many goddamn foreigners it looks like the bar from Star Wars. You see a guy with a dot and a towel on his head — half-Klingon, half-Pakistani.” And Slayton is not fond of Mexico either: “How disgusting is Mexico? It’s a dirty, filthy country. And you’d think with all the cleaning ladies that come out of there…” But he’s optimistic about the hell that “dickhead” white Christians have in store for us. “The Jews will cater, the blacks will entertain, the homos will decorate, and it’ll be one big f***ing party.” Slayton makes you feel giggly and guilty at the same time.
