Come this weekend, you’ll probably be well past your gag limit on good art. Take a well-deserved break from gawking at inanimate objects by ogling what we were all meant to ogle — Playboy babes. Okay, so they are hopeful Playboy lingerie models, but that’s even better for delusional horn-dogs who think they actually have a chance with these ladies before they get centerfold famous.
This Saturday, Lux Nightclub hosts the crowning of the new face of Playboy Intimates 2011 Ad Campaign.
There should major talent on
display at the South Beach nightclub, which doesn’t do so badly in that
department on regular nights. Allow us to be clear: There will NOT be nude modeling, and the
contest is not actually sponsored by Playboy, but better yet (or worse,
depending upon where you stand), it is organized by a company called
Panties Plus Inc. USA. The company sells Playboy Intimates lingerie as a
licensee of the bunny empire.
The point is there will be 15 gorgeous finalists (check them out here) chosen via model
searches around the country and an online competition in one
location — basically just another night in a South Beach club. The
finalists will saunter around LUX modeling sexy lingerie — again, basically just
another night in South Beach club.
The event cost $20 and is open to the public. Doors open at 11 p.m. on
Saturday, December 4 at LUX Nightclub (1439 Washington Ave., Miami
