At perhaps the classiest Irish pub in town, John Martin’s Pub, hear from UV, a U2 tribute band. Hear hits like “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” so melodic it can withstand the vocal chord distortion of a tribute band, never mind that the lyrics are about the massacre of Irish protesters by British troops. Before UV hits the stage, take in The Hard Liquor Band, Paddy Kelleghan, and The Rolling C’s. The fun, which includes a street festival along Salzedo and Aragon avenues, starts at 5 p.m.
