Keep Miami New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $7,500 by April 26. Your support ensures New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
Miami’s oldest bar, Tobacco Road is an unpretentious, off-the-beaten-path hub for locals who want a good brew without the frills (or the price tag) of South Beach. And unlike the dozens of other venues that have disappeared, it’s a mainstay for area musicians of all genres.
But for this edition of the Rock Thursdays — a weekly show of all original local music hosted by DJ Oski — the Road welcomes something a little different. Unlike other performers, the members of Miami-based Seven Anyday hope you will forget they’re onstage; they see themselves not only as a band but also as a vessel for a deeper spiritual message. During these challenging times, Seven Anyday wants to inspire others with its positivity and faith. Doors open at 9 p.m.; the show begins at 10. Entry is five dollars at the door for those 21 and older.
