This weekend, you’ll have a chance to see more muscle-loving junkies than any gym can hold at the 30th annual NPC Southern States Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure, and Bikini Championships. Watch the bodybuilders — guys and gals from teens to seniors — stroll along the stage, satisfied in their tight skin, and just try to divert your eyes from their massive thighs. On Friday, see the Women’s Figure & Bikini competitors perform two-minute choreographed routines, showcasing their dance, theater, and gymnastic skills. Meanwhile, the men will run obstacle courses for the Manuel Mair Men’s Fitness Championships. On Saturday, in addition to the bodybuilding competitors flexing their best muscles for audiences and judges, there’ll be performances from “guest posers,” pro stars of the International Federation of BodyBuilders. The action starts Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. at the War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale.
