Hey, did you know that this is the first weekend of fall? There’ll be no need for that knit sweater and no pumpkin patch tours to speak of, but YES it’s fall! Let’s do autumn Miami-style and revel in the months ahead which will hopefully be filled with low(er) humidity and smaller patches of underarm sweat. And we’ll call it faux fall. Yes, and faux fall is beginning with a Friday full of all types of live music. Party with the Postelles at Club 50, try to feel irie with reggae courtesy of Eyenity at Gordon Biersch, or blow faux-Fall all the way the fuck out with the Colossal Music Festival at Tobacco Road. And don’t forget that MoCA’s highly aniticipated Pivot Points Part 3 starts tonight and will def be the hottest cultural ticket in town. Faux yeah.
