In today’s high-tech world, no medium is safe from digital influence. The III Points Festival is a merging of art, music, and technology, showcasing the magic that happens when these worlds collide. Beginning this Friday and continuing through Sunday at locations around Wynwood, III Points will present huge electronic music acts, along with innovative artists and techies who are doing exciting things in their respective fields. Events throughout the weekend include happy hours, collaborative art installations, and panel discussions on art and technology stationed at more than 35 venues in the area. Participating artists include Deon Rubi, Michael Clifford, Douglas Hoekzema, Giles Neale, Johnny Robles, Franky Cruz, Sarah MK Moody, Nikki Salcedo, Marilyn Rondon, Yuri Tuma, Diego Guzman, and Cristina Gonzalez. Also bringing the fun are videogame hubs, film screenings, and yoga sets. III Points runs from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Friday through Sunday. Three-day general-admission tickets cost $105.93 plus fees, and one-day passes start at $55. Visit iiipoints.com.
Fri., Oct. 10, 7 p.m.; Sat., Oct. 11, 7 p.m.; Sun., Oct. 12, 7 p.m., 2014
