If you have well-cultivated taste and an appetite for good drinks, good tunes, and good times, you’re exactly the kind of audiophile the Magic City Casino (450 NW 37th Ave., Miami) wants on hand for its Ultimate Miami Band battle royal.
This Thursday, five handpicked bands will go head to head in a fierce sonic competition for the chance to be crowned the 305’s next big band. All manner of genres will be represented, from rock to reggae, jam, fusion, and more. And don’t worry — there will be plenty of music you’ll recognize, as each group is required to rock out two covers and one original song.
Come out with your friends and support the up-and-coming talent of Miami, and then enjoy a headline performance from the Gin Blossoms. You must be 21 or older to attend, and for sure, drinking makes the voting process more fun.
