The New York Times says Israel’s top dance company, the Batsheva Ensemble, has “dancing that you will not see anywhere else!” And the Village Voice says, “The dancers are remarkable!” It might very well be true that you’ll see some sensual and unique gyrating at the Arsht Center this Sunday at 2 p.m., when the Batsheva Ensemble rolls into town. But you can witness some “dancing you will not see anywhere else” at the Vagabond if you follow the coked-up ladies out of the bathroom to the dance floor. And “the dancers are remarkable” at Secrets Strip Club as well. Surely, the Batsheva Ensemble has the experience and training, but what about the nonstop pencil-dress whirlwind of a cocaine spinstress? Or the confidential private consultation of a Secrets body specialist?
Eh, who are we kidding? Cocaine might make you scrappy, but the pros have it down. Just like Kevin Bacon, the Batsheva Ensemble can do anything. Tickets cost $25 to $95.
