This year 211,240 women will develop breast cancer and 40,410 will die from it, while 1690 men will develop it and 460 will die. Now that you have been rudely awakened from your couch-spud bliss, you might be wondering, How can I help? Run or walk during the eleventh annual Miami/Fort Lauderdale Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure today at Bayfront Park. You won’t be alone: More than 12,200 participants, spectators, and sponsors made it to the race site last year.
