Mondays are hard days to get through, what with the return to indentured servitude; the sweltering, swampy weather; and the insane traffic that has turned us into the nation’s worst drivers. Why not end your day on a high (and healthy) note and take an invigorating class at True Balance? You couldn’t ask for a better atmosphere: Every class takes place outdoors on the piazza of the gorgeous Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove.
Jas’Mine’s Eclectic Yoga is an intimate class open to novice and master yogis alike, and incorporates vinyasa flows, heart-opening moves, light Pilates work, as well as strength- and flexibility-based poses. The hour-long session begins tonight at 7:30. If you can’t make that class, check out Pilates with Andrea at 8:30. Prepare to lengthen and strengthen muscles you never even knew you had, and oh yeah, bring your own mat, a towel, and a bottle of water. Stopping by and taking part in either of these classes is well worth the $16 admission ($144 for a 10-hour card). Call 305-666-9137, or visit www.truebalance.com to check out other weekly workout sessions.
