On the front page of the Miami Herald today is a photo of Sylvester Stallone,  posed in front of an abstract red painting. The article goes on to cite “the star power” at Art Basel this year. It explains the rich and famous are spending more money than last year, and that “people are talking about art, not the economy.”

Our favorite local, leather-faced, wizard of sound appeared for a brief but glorious 15 minutes at OHWOW, last night, at which point Riptide squealed like a teenage girl, and then followed him around without the nerve to say “Hi.” Like the rest of us, he was there for David Lynch’s Dark Night of the Soul. (Check out some coverage on Lynch’s exhibition here.)More photos after the jump.
