Shifting The Paradigm, featuring the art of George Edozie and curated by African scholar and poet, Nkiru Nzegwu, will tear down aging but still prevalent concepts surrounding the creation, consumption and interpretation of contemporary art.
The opening reception for Shifting the Paradigm will launch a week of activities at MOCA North Miami that will include the MOCA Bloomingdale’s Breakfast Series — an engagement with contemporary aesthetic issues by scholars, critics and artists.
