$10,000

Everybody is talking about money these days, but we say shut it and choose: paper or plastic? Every budget can squeeze in a shopping spree at prices that are discounted up to 75 percent off, and twice a year, fashion/beauty/nightlife guru Shecky’s rolls into town with trunks full of gear for its annual Girls’ Night Out. This Thursday and Friday, from 6 to 11 p.m., emerging designers along with names you know will flood the Moore Building with maxi-dresses, glistening jewelry, satchel-style purses, flowing tops — gasp — skinny jeans, bowler hats, studded gloves, chain belts, and tons more. Shecky’s Insiders (you know who you are) get in free; all others must pay $25 in advance or $35 at the door for access to unlimited cocktails, a goody bag, three floors of shopping heaven, and some freebies sprinkled in between. Shecky’s is prepared to provide the relaxation techniques to keep up your endurance, so when you need a breather, have a gratis blow-dry and massage or just ogle one of the three guys in the building.

Last year, some fashionistas complained when the bonanza was moved to the Catalina on South Beach, but this year, it’s back to its three-tiered glory in the Design District. Cheers, ladies.
