Some say beauty comes from within, but we all know that’s not entirely true. That’s why on Sunday, pro hair stylists, barbers, and artists will unite at the Doubletree Hilton, Miami Airport Convention Center (711 NW 72nd Ave., Miami) to teach and be taught at the Beauty and the Barber 2014 expo.
More than 100 exhibiting booths will pervade the 2,700-square-foot expanse, showcasing the best-of-the-best brand names in the cosmetic, wellness, spa, fragrance, natural health, nails, and salon and barber industries. In addition to hard-core networking, newbies and novices will sharpen their once-amateur talents with the help of tutorials, seminars, and workshops taught by industry professionals around the premises.
Not only will knowledge be shared from experts to prolific prodigies but also stylists and artists will mire under pressure and prove their talent in a competition consisting of five categories: barber, comprehensive “Horror Nights” makeup, basic makeup, nail art, and hair.
