With 3 days left in our spring campaign, we have a new $10,000 goal!
New Times members have already contributed more than $7,500 - can you help us hit our new goal and keep New Times free and in print every week? If New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today.
Their job is to excite stadiums full of screaming football fanatics. And week after week, clad in teeny tiny uniforms, they do just that. No, not the guys hawking the cotton candy – the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders. Guys love ’em, (some) girls wanna be ’em, and everyone must admit that they’re fierce high kickin’, rah-rah-sis-boom-bah females. And today, Equinox is teaching you how to train like one. From 8 to 9 p.m. take a sneak peek into cheerleading camp in a 60-minute class that focuses on stretching, across the floor techniques and 4 eight-counts of choreography. You can actually tryout for a chance to don the girlie green, orange and white or just train like you are. Either way we’re rooting for you from the couch, er, sideline.
