State Championship winners the Miami Rugby Football Club (RFC) play host to the USA Rugby Division 1 South Championship at Hialeah’s Amelia Earhart Park. Seeding will take place this Saturday as Boca Raton Football Club faces Life University at noon, followed by Miami RFC playing the Atlanta Renegades at 2 p.m. Sunday, after a 10 a.m. consolation match, winning teams from Saturday’s games will face off at noon to decide who takes home the 2010 Division 1 South trophy. The Miami Rugby Football Club was created in 1969 to provide matches for the many British naval ships that visited the Port of Miami. They practice all year round.
