Brickell is getting some balls. Meatballs, that is, along with burgers and beer.
At the inaugural Burger, Beer & Balls Bash, Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. at Miami Circle (401 Brickell Ave., Miami), 15 local restaurants will showcase their favorite burger and meatball recipes for your carnivorous pleasure. Wash your meat down with plenty of Stella Artois beer while you enjoy continuous live music, a car exhibit, and vendors. Billy the Marlin and the Marlins Mermaids will be on hand for photo ops, and the Miami Dolphins’ fan zone will get everyone excited about the upcoming season.
General admission tickets cost $10, and you can buy tickets for food and beer samples as you go. An additional $25 gets you access to the wine and spirits tent, where an open bar awaits. VIP tickets, which cost $75, let you party from 5 to 10 p.m. with unlimited beer sampling and $30 in food and drink vouchers. A combination VIP and Wine & Spirits tent pass costs $100. All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade, so you can party knowing you’re doing a nice thing for kids.
