The beach or shopping, the beach or shopping — it’s the curse of Miami. But this week you do not have to choose. Get the best of both worlds and head to South Beach’s fashion extravaganza today through Saturday. The event, held in the Fashion Cabana on the sand near the corner of Eleventh Street and Ocean Drive, is launching a new line of clothing called Metro 7. The line specializes in affordable, fashion forward, trendy outfits, with bags and jewelry to match. It reflects the latest colors, fabrics, and styles — and everything is priced between $7 and $32. To help kick off the fashion affair, Dayanara Torres — model, actress, singer, and former Miss Universe — will make an appearance today from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The cabana is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will feature models, merchandise, and refreshments.
