Michael Moore released his latest documentary, Slacker Uprising, for free on the web, which is a bit of annoyance for true slackers. As if they’re going to double-click and wait a few hours for the thing to download. Way too much work. If only there were a place one could go to watch a film someone has, like, already downloaded — and that person would even press play. All the slacker would have to do is sit and eat popcorn. The Miami Beach Film Society is screening the flick — which follows Moore on a college tour trying to rev up student voters — at the Miami Beach Cinematheque Wednesday night at 8:30.
