Being a bookworm is still the shit. These days, nerds in Miami have swag. It’s retro and cool to be book smart and wear a calculator watch. So, 305 book lovers, let’s hang out, get wired on free Café Bustelo, and chill with the Black Umbrella Book Club (BUBC). This Tuesday at midnight, the coolest intellectuals in town will have another session. Lauren Reskin, owner of Sweat Records, hosts this weekly literary discussion group and says, “The space is comfy and has a huge table that seats almost 20… I’ve met some really great people already and look forward to the meetings.” Wait, did we mention free refreshments? Delicious iced coffee, snacks from Pasha’s, and great people are all that it takes for a good time! Turn off that laptop, put down that iPhone, pick up a book, and have some serious fun.
