The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival will hold a 75th-anniversary celebration for 20th Century Fox, and there’s no better way to kick it off than with the Citizen Kane of the teen comedy genre: Porky’s. Because the movie was filmed right in our own back yard — specifically Miami Senior High School, Greynolds Park, and the old Miami Beach Senior High School — FLIFF will also host an afterparty, Q&A session, and “class reunion” with Porky’s cast and crew members. So revisit the onscreen shenanigans of Pee Wee, Wendy, and Balbricker, who gave entirely new meaning to the term pulled pork. If you took part in the filming, contact FLIFF and let them know your role. Note: Saying you were Pauly the Penis probably won’t work. The porking begins at 7 p.m. this Saturday at Cinema Paradiso.

Sat., Sept. 4, 7 p.m., 2010
